Media Optics Apps Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 10, 2026

Media Optics Tech ("we," "us," or "our") develops and publishes a portfolio of mobile applications (each, an "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information our Apps collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using any of our Apps, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide Directly
Some Apps let you submit feedback, ratings, or support requests. If you do, we may collect the message you write and an email address — only if you choose to provide one, so we can respond to you.

b) Automatically Collected Information
When you use our Apps, we automatically collect:

  • Device information (manufacturer, model, OS version, app version)
  • Usage and diagnostic data (crash reports, performance metrics) via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics
  • Advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID) for ad personalization and frequency capping

c) Permission-Based Data
Depending on the specific App and the features it offers, we may request access to:

  • Microphone — for apps with voice/audio features; audio is processed for the app's core functionality and is not uploaded to our servers unless explicitly stated for that app.
  • Camera — for apps with photo/video capture features.
  • Location — for apps with location-based features; used only to power that functionality and never sold to advertisers.
  • Storage/Media — to let you save, import, or export files created in the app.

We only request permissions relevant to the specific App you're using, and each App requests these at the time the related feature is first used.

d) Purchase Information
If an App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, transactions are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — only purchase/subscription status needed to unlock features.

2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Apps
  • Respond to feedback and support requests
  • Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs
  • Measure and improve app performance
  • Serve and personalize advertisements
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud or technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services
Our Apps use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

ServicePurpose
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Firestore)Usage analytics, crash reporting, feedback storage
Google AdMobAdvertisement serving
Google Play BillingSubscription and in-app purchase processing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, in response to a valid legal request (e.g., court order, government request), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Media Optics Tech, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Feedback submissions are retained until you request deletion (see Section 7). Analytics and diagnostic data collected via Firebase is retained according to Firebase's default retention settings (typically up to 14 months), after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized.

6. Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where a specific App is intended for a general or family audience, that App is configured to serve only non-personalized ads and to limit data collection in line with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable children's privacy laws (such as COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of personalized advertising via your device's ad settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, on both Android and iOS)
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority
  • If you are a California resident, opt out of the "sharing" of your information (as CCPA defines that term) for advertising purposes, using the device ad settings above

Where we rely on your consent to process data (for example, for personalized ads or optional permissions), you may withdraw that consent at any time; where we rely on our legitimate interests (for example, to diagnose crashes and improve the Apps), you may contact us to object. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

8. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (including Google Firebase's security infrastructure) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use of our Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
